It's another wonderful Pink Saturday, hosted by Beverly of "How Sweet the Sound".

Today I'm sharing something special. My mom lived to be 95, although she is no
longer here physically, memories of her are all over my house. Mom was an artist,
very independent, and always "ahead of her time" with her ideas. One of her favorite
things to wear was a fusha-pink pantsuit.
After she was gone, my niece made small pillows out of the pantsuit, and added a piece of her jewelry. She gave one to me, my sisters, and her sister. Everytime I look at it, I think of Mom.




Over time, I have added some vintage poodle pins, given to me by friends.

For my Pink and Black bathroom, a friend gave me this darling
musical water globe.



We just finished painting the master bedroom a pretty sagey green,
Here are some pretty pieces of Austrian china. The pretty rose plaque
was given to me by Bertie, of Aunt Mays Cottage.
